my journey of life
Born in Davos/Switzerland, I lived for many years in the mountainous part of Switzerland, a few years in Zurich and from 2015 on for several years on Maui, Hawai’i. In 2022 I moved to Weggis/Lucerne. Several months of the year I still live on Maui.
To support people on a path ot their "very own self-expression", to love and freedom, to their "true being", that is the mission of my heart.
A PATH OF PERSONAL GROWTH AND SPIRITUAL AWAKENING
The interest in what lies behind the mask of being human and being creative has always accompanied my life. For over 35 years, I have been supported people on their way to becoming more themselves. As a former sport athlete, it was initially the sport psychological and the mental field in which I assisted people. Many self-awareness trainings and educations followed. I had gone through many lows and highs, a path of personal and spiritual growth. Long years of consciousness development were behind me when, at the age of 50, my life changed drastically. First an unsuccessful back surgery, which put me out of action for almost three years. Just after I have recovered from that, the diagnosis of cancer at 54, followed by the separation of a long marriage shuttered my life. I found myself at a point with no energy and I saw no life perspectives. But then I heard an inner call .…
HAWAI’I AS a source of healing and transformation
Hawai’i was calling - it changed my life! Totally by myself with one suitcase on my hand, I left everything behind and moved to Maui/Hawai’i. For many people, when they step on Hawaiian soil, a gate opens for the own inner truths and new soul paths. So for me too.
I enrolled as a fulltime student at the University of Hawai’i in Maui, with a focus on Hawaiian culture and art. I wanted to explore this culture profoundly, follow my attraction for this magic land. In the four years of study, I have acquired a deep, in-depth knowledge of Hawaiian culture, history, and philosophy of life. At the same time, I was very fortunate to be accepted as a sister in a traditional Hawaiian family (Ohana). I could meet and learn with Hawaiian teachers and healers, was part of the community, and was able to participate in cultural events and ceremonies. I learned the truth and power of the Hawaiian principles of life (Aloha Spirit, Ho’oponopono, Shamanism). Again and again, I was deeply touched in my heart by the love, the way of life, and the deep understanding that we are all connected with eachother, mother nature and all beings. This deep knowledge is also expressed by the locals through creativity in various forms. This first-hand experience I carry as a great treasure. Going inwards and having the courage to make big changes, led me to the greatest and joyful experience of my life. Hawai’i is a great source of inspiration for my life, my work, and my art. Five years I have lived permanently on the island in the middle of the ocean, it has brought me healing on all levels. Mahalo Nui!
My Calling: support people - sound healing - creativity
To touch people's hearts with my being and empathy, to pass on my rich experience, to inspire people with my creative talent, that is what I love the most. It fills me again and again with deep joy when I can witness how my clients are able to connect deeper with their true essence. I am happy to share what has led me to a freer and happier life, and what has brought me to awaken to my true being.
For over 40 years, I have been working as a freelance artist in my own studio. I ran my own gallery in Zurich, showed my artworks at exhibitions in Switzerland and at major juried exhibitions in Hawai’i. You can find my artwork on my website artliliana.com
Music and Sound was always a part of my life, I offer sound healing sessions, play a very unique Motherdrum, blow the Pu’u (shell), play Handpan, Singing bowls, Gongs, Tambura, and other percussion instruments from all around the world. I dance and use my voice as a healing force. In Weggis, directly on the lake, I offer private sessions and special retreats with coaching, sound healing and transformation.
